Maths Circles

Service Description

For young thinkers who like maths challenges, mathematical thinking, and exploration. For young people who enjoy logic and want to expand their problem solving skills. Join us for TMU's maths circles. This term we are looking at number theory. Each session we will play with a problem - and the problems will increase in complexity through the term. We will work together - and you can work in your own time - to explore how to solve the challenges, why the problems are so challenging, and how we can think of a problem in different ways. Background knowledge should be basic arithmetic operations and have a good understanding of operations with fractions. Taught by Maths Scholar Wing Chow.
