This workshop will take place IN PERSON in Kampala, on April 19th. In today's complex world, young people need more than just information—they need the tools to evaluate it critically and communicate their ideas effectively. Our workshop provides a fun, structured environment where bright young minds can: • Develop critical thinking skills • Expand global awareness • Enhance communication and leadership abilities • Engage with philosophical concepts Workshop Journey We start with an apparently simple question: "What would the perfect world look like?" Through carefully designed discussions and exercises, participants will: 1. Critically examine current social structures and systems 2. Creatively reimagine alternatives to today's challenges 3. Thoughtfully debate the merits of different approaches 4. Collaboratively develop solutions that consider multiple perspectives Program Flow • Welcome and interactive ice breakers • Collaborative brainstorming session on "perfect world" concepts • Selection of focus areas (education, transportation, health, sports, immigration, art) • Small group discussions exploring chosen topics • Perspective analysis exercises examining different viewpoints • Closing forum for idea presentation • Personal reflection and action planning This session is FREE but please book to help us with planning.
Cancellation Policy
All our classes require a minimum number of Thinkers to run. As soon as enough Thinkers sign up you will receive an e-mail from the Scholar running your class with a link to your virtual classroom. If we cannot gather enough thinkers to run a class we will, sadly, have to cancel and/or reschedule. If this is the case, we will e-mail 24 hours before your class is scheduled to start to let you know. To help ensure that your class does take place, please invite others to join you. We find that word of mouth is the best way to let new families know about Thinkers Meet Up. Thank you!
